Archbishop`s Palace
The Archbishop`s Palace is one of the most admired structure in Olomouc. It is building in early baroque style. In 1777 it became the seat of the Archbishop of the Moravian metropolitan. Palace was witness to the most significant event of European history which took place on the territory of today`s Olomouc region. The famous Hungarian King and Austrian Emperor Francis Joseph I, who ruled up until the year 1916, mounted the throne here in the tumultuous year of 1848.

Hauenschild Palace
Hauenschild Palace was buil in 16th century. It is renaissance palace. Richly sculpted stone faηade and two storey corner bay window with reliefs from ancient mythology. Salzburg bandmaster Leopold Mozart with his wife and children were accommodated during their stay in Olomouc in the year 1767. Thus 11 year-old Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart composed his 6th symphony in F-major here in Olomouc.
