I have viewed your excellent website and found much very useful information.
I will possibly visit Czech Republic. Where can I find information or a list of inexpensive guesthouses, pensions, or bed-&-breakfasts in the cities of Plzen & Ceske Budejovice?
I could recommend you following:
- Ceske Budejovice: Hotel Zatkuv Dum - cheap and cozy hotel close to the main square, historical building, very popular:
- Plzen: Hotel Irida - central location, excellent services for guest`s money:
Train tickets (Prague)
I need to buy a return train ticket Prague-Krakow. I have contacted the train company on the phone and they said that tickets can only be purchased at the train station (or at least I cannot buy them, being in South America). I wonder if you can buy the tickets that I need, and sell them to me. Please let me know, and if you can do that, I will give you the details of the required trip.
I am afraid we do not provide this service. You would probably be able to buy it a couple of days before the trip.
Bus timetable (Prague - Cesky Krumlov)
I plan to visit Prague and Cesky Krumlov. I would like to take the bus from Prague to Krumlov. How can I find you. I'll arrive at the airport around 8:00am. Here are my questions:
1. Which is the earlies bus from Prague to Cesky Krumlov?
2. How can I go to the bus station from the Airport?
3. How to buy the tickets? Can I buy at the counter in bus station?
Please try the National Timetable Information System:
You would have to travel from the airport to bus station (public transport or taxi):
You can also get from the airport to Cesky Krumlov this way:
Question about tours (Prague)
Is there an age limited on the tour: Thrilling Middle Ages? We will be visiting Prague in July/Aug and looking for tours that are geared to family. The ages of our kids are 14 and 16. There are a few tours we are interested in so once I get the dates and hotel reservations we will be making our choices. Are we able to be picked up and dropped off at our hotel?
The Thrilling Middle Ages Tour is also suitable for the children. The tour includes visit of a chateau and a tavern.
Adults: 1790 CZK/person appr.72 EUR
Children: 1400 CZK/child appr.56 EUR
Pick up is free of charge and is available.
Dropp off service depends on chosen tour.
I wish to go on a vacation to Czech within the month with a friend but need some more information that I was unable to find on your website.
How would we travel around Czech? We would like to see attractions (at least 10), go for about 2 weeks, we have up to $10,000 to spend for the whole trip (this includes food, hotel expenses etc), what would be the best package/tour for us?
We would also like little to some information on the hotels and landmarks we visit. Thank you.
I recommend you to rent a car for transfers:
Accommodation: around 100 EUR/double room/night
TOP Sights: Prague, Cesky Krumlov, Telc, Kutna Hora, Olomouc
You can also visit other historical cities/towns like Ceske Budejovice, Plzen, Karlovy Vary, Brno, Znojmo, Kromeriz:
