Telc - Telc is gorgeous. You enter the colorful city center over a footbridge and through an archway, with music from the music school accompanying you. The lakes and parks that surround the town make for utterly beautiful walks. This is a great place to spend the evening/night.

Hotel U Hrabenky - For a small hotel in a small, delightful town, Hotel U Hrabenky was just right! The interior has recently been beautifully decorated, and there is private parking by the back door (a plus in Czech Republic). The staff was considerate and helped us get internet in our room. The continental breakfast was fine enough and served by a lovely courtyard. As a B and B, it is a definite "A".

Telc - A lovely little town with a delightful market place, very photogenic and busy during the day. Everyone disappears after about 9.00pm, which is nice and restful, but there is a feeling that there is nothing there except tourism. Compared to Trebon, or Cesky Crumlov it is quiet and a bit dead. Perhaps in a few more years it will have its own raison d'etre.

Hotel Celerin - Very nice, clean hotel, but a bit worn. The lady who runs it made us most welcome and was always around in case we needed anything. The room was VAST (!), with a lovely view down the market place. Beds were comfortable and en-suite bathroom well appointed and everything worked. Breakfasts were fine and particular thanks due to the english speaking receptionist who helped us find a hotel in Prague a day early.

Telc - Telc is oustanding in terms of beauty and harmony!! Worth the trip ten times over!

Hotel Pangea - It was very nice, clean, on a noisy street. The people were very nice and excellent location. May I say that the "pool" did not seem very clean ...and is very small but a food ratio quality price in such a touristy town. Maybe add that it has no charm as it is a modern building.

Telc - Wonderful town but difficult to find a nice place to eat. Not too much to do after dark but at least we had a good rest.

Hotel Na Hrazi - Ok, no real problems. TV did not work, radiator too loud but it was ok.
