Star, sun and moon.
The town hall became a symbol of the town self-rule. It is located in a house in the square gifted to the town in 1378 by Emperor and Bohemian King Charles IV. The town hall was newly built after a destroying fire in the years 1795 - 96 and adapted in Pseudo renaissance style in 1840. There are three symbols on the top of the town hall - the star symbolizing town Slany and close connection with the Hussite ideals, the sun stands for the town of Zatec and the moon for the town of Louny.
