Vysehrad
Vysehrad, the rock above river Vltava, is mysterious site bounds up with legends. There foresowed legendary Princess Libuse the future glory of Prague from Vysehrad.
We know sure that Vysehrad used to be the Premyslid princes` main residence in the latter half of the 11th and in 12th century. After that Premyslid princes moved to Prague Castle.
In present, Vysehrad is still magic and mystery place. It offers visitors interesting architectural complex with church (in preset Neo-Gothic building), rotunda and cemetery (over 600 leading Czech personalities from the world of culture and education are buried here, including A. Dvorak, B. Smetana) and quiet parks for relaxion.
