Olomouc - Very nice town, much less tourists than anywhere else.

Hotel Arigone - Wonderful hotel in wonderful location. Very clean and tastefully furnished. It really fits the description of hotel-boutique. It was very pleasant stay.

Olomouc - A wonderful discovery. The town is so picturesque, people friendly and helpful, not a lot of tourists and it is a much better place to shop than Prague.

Hotel Arigone - We had a wonderful time in Olomouc and were completely happy with the Hotel Arigone. The location was excellent, the room full of atmosphere and the staff most helpful. We will recommend the city and the Hotel Arigone to our friends.

Olomouc - The old town was marvellous with fine architecture and a friendly atmosphere. Public transport was efficient and it was pleasant to walk around without being annoyed by too much traffic noise. We were impressed by the cleanness of the streets and squares and really enjoyed our stay (too short) in this gem of a town. Surprising that not more tourists have discovered it!

Hotel Arigone - We found Hotel Arigone a very charming place to stay. The reception staff was friendly, the room spacious and nicely equipped. Breakfast was fine, and would have been even better if the girl working there had put a little smile on to her face.

Olomouc - We did not find time to visit the city of Olomouc itself. It was very sunny day and after a long ride we decided to have us pampered by the hotel staff.

Best Western Hotel Pracharna - It turned out to be an excellent decision to have our overnight stop in the Pracharna Hotel. Staff was well aware of our arrival, was very kind and helpful. Maybe, we were lucky but we had a very spacious room, we almost got the impression of being "very important persons".

Olomouc - We liked Olomouc very much too. We were not there very long, staying for just one night, but thought the square was beautiful and a bit like Prague without the crowds. The University adds a good atmosphere to the town, and it would be a nice place to study. We found it a good stopover between Slovakia (The Tatras) and Prague.

Hotel Arigone - This is a lovely hotel in a very good location. The conversion of the building has been very well done and is most attractive. The staff were welcoming and helpful and spoke very good English. The restaurant attached to the hotel was also very good. We thought the breakfast served in the restaurant was OK but it wasn't as good as the overall standard of the hotel which was excellent. We thought that Hotel Arigone was very good value for money. We would not hesitate to return there or recommend it to friends or family.

Olomouc - Olomouc Archdiocesan Museum was excellent.

Hanacky Dvur - Very clean, simple hotel with nice decor. Pleasant stay.

Olomouc - Didn't see much as had other committments, but will defintiely come back to explore beyond the main square.

Hotel Gemo - Very comfortable rooms, helpful staff. Will ise hotel on next visit.

Hotel Arigone - I actually would rate the hotel above average, and would stay there again, except for two serious problems. We had no hot water for a long awaited shower, and workmen woke us at 7:30 with horrible banging on metal pipes.

Olomouc - Not the most exciting city to visit, but as a passing through point from other places in europe it provided a nice city for a day.

Hotel Arigone - The atmosphere of the hotel was lovely. The best part was the breakfast in the morning. We found that the skylight windows on the top floor had some leaks. There were also some lightbulbs that were burned out. It was a nice place to stay for one night.
